Love

I immersed my soul into that perennial flow of deep fathomless streams
My long held shame, misery and melancholy have washed away; making me immaculate and clean.
I have lent my ears to birds of Springtime and have heard the babble of newly born breeds,
I have dipped the stem of roses in elixir, to colour my lover’s eyelids.
Today am short of words to write ode on my mate’s fine-looking eyebrows
But I have kept the doors of my heart ajar to exchange my love in lieu of your sorrows
The love of July rains, attracts blackest of the clouds over the thirsty land
The pitter-patter echoes the contentment and love of every life around.
